Howard S. Clark was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is co-founder and partner of Clark Leaming Designs, an interior design, art, and furnishings company.

He was awarded “Best of Show” in 1998, received two awards of merit in 1997, and was honored with a juror’s selection in 1997, all from the Utah Water Color Society. His work has been exhibited at the Underground Gallery, the Utah Water Color Society, the Utah State Fine Arts Institute Traveling Exhibition, the Kimball Art Gallery (Park City, Utah), Williams Fine Arts (Salt Lake City), Coda Gallery (Palm Desert, California), and F. Wexler Company (Salt Lake City).

Mr. Clark’s work is included in permanent collections at Salt Lake County Art Collection, University of Utah’s Gardner Music Hall, Liberty Senior Center, Huntsman Cancer Institute, Huntsman Chemical Corporation, Chevron, the law offices of Van Cott, Bagley, Cornwall & McCarthy and McKay, Burton & Thurman, Salt Lake Country Club, Hidden Valley Country Club and the David Eccles School of Business.

He has served as chairman of the University of Utah College of Fine Arts advisory board, and as a member of the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition. Mr. Clark is also a member of the National Advisory Board at the David Eccles School of Business.
